The March meeting of West Side Bridge was held on March 20, 2014 at the offices of Wednesday Journal Publications, 143 S. Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park. Members discussed recent and upcoming community events and their effects, such as the Youth Led Community Forum hosted by The West Garfield Park Community Stakeholders. Also mentioned were the Metamorphosis Project, an empowerment effort for young women through Local-Motions Performing Arts Organization, as well as the Annual Meeting and 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Oak Park Area Arts Council.

Members of West Side Bridge represent a wide variety businesses and organizations, including but not limited to: Fenwick High School, Pilgrim Congregational Church, Prevail, After School Matters, Pyramid Players Productions, and Fathers Who Care.

West Side Bridge brings locals together with the goal of bridging the gap between Chicago's West Side and the nearby suburbs. The group meets every 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:30am-9am. Locations vary. Membership is free. To join, email Dawn@OakPark.com.
