The Westside Ministers Coalition is ready for its, Youth Spring Break Event, March 25-27th, 2013. The WMC traditionally has brought unity to the Austin/ Lawndale Communities as well as expose our youth to a week-long variety of events about keeping the peace, various alternatives to violence, educational, employment and heath awareness. The main purpose of this week is to change lives resulting in changing the world by providing Chicago land youth with life principles for success while on Spring Break. This will be the greatest Spring Break event for teens, anywhere in the country this year! We will inspire and broaden perspectives, we will change lives!
The free event will be held at the beautiful El Palais Bu-Sche’, located at 4628 W. Washington Blvd, Chicago, IL. 60644. The event will be held daily from March 25-27th starting at 10a.m.-2p.m. The Spring Break program will consist of seminars ranging from health awareness & college readiness to time management & financial literacy. The program includes materials, entertainment, free breakfast & lunch as well as job placement and a trip to Brookfield Zoo on March 28th for all youth who have attended the entire event.
