Rep Ford is working with many organizations all over Illinois in boosting the morale of service members and their families. Taste of Brasil Cafe is located in the 8th District, Oak Park, IL. Having a local business, such as Taste of Brazil Cafe to join the cause is outstanding. Taste of Brasil will give a gift certificate good for two, for one military member monthly to dine in their restaurant, as well as designate a military day where they will supply free coffee to military members. The owners are in the process of creating therapeutic cooking classes based on traditional Brazilian food free to disabled veterans at the Jesse Brown VA.

Owner Cristiane Pereira is also a host candidate for Check, Please on WTTW.
