On Thursday, May 15th, the West Side Bridge networking group met had there monthly meeting from 7:30am-9am at the offices of Wednesday Journal Publications at 143 S. Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park.
It might have broken the record for number of attendees since we began the group over a year ago, as 25 people joined us. There was a lively discussion about how to build relationships between our communities, between Maywood and Forest Park in particular. Members represented a wide variety of community organizations such as churches, nonprofit groups, local government, small businesses, and more.
A big THANK YOU to those who brought refreshments! They were most appreciated.
