The West Side Bridge Networking Group will have their monthly meeting on Thursday, July 16th from 7:30am until 9:00am at the offices of Wednesday Journal Publications, 141 S. Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park.

The meeting is open to all local professionals, but RSVP is required! Contact Alicia Plomin: (708) 613-3344 or alicia@oakpark.com. Bring your business cards!

One member says he enjoys the meetings because he has “found lots of new friends and learned about a lot of resources,” while another member “met various community organizations and members while getting to learn more about what is going on locally.

The West Side Business Network (WSBN) began in 2013 when the Austin Weekly News saw the need to provide networking opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs on Chicago’s Greater West Side, bridging the gap between the city and near west suburbs. It’s been two years now, and we’ve been remarkably successful with well over 800 community members and partners in our network. The WSBN is FREE to join and includes many benefits, such as advertising rates exclusive to members, inclusion of an informational flyer about an event or services in our weekly WSBN Update email that goes to thousands of locals, and more!

The West Side Bridge networking group always meets the 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:30am – 9am. The location changes. Besides attending a networking event, another way to increase awareness of your business, while supporting the community, is to host a West Side Bridge meeting (usually attended by between 15-30 members). Hosts get the opportunity to give a short 15minute informational presentation to the guests, and also to offer a complimentary tour of their facility.
