Do you think Mayor Emanuel knew about the Laquan McDonald's video and possibly participated in a cover-up so not to hurt his re-election bid?

"I think he knew about the video, that's why he authorized the $5 million.  Only Emanuel can authorize $5 million.  He looked at the video himself; he wouldn't just take anybody's word for it.  I think he should resign and the people should continue to protest and shut down businesses."

David Jones
"I think he had to have known about it because if they paid that much for a settlement or to hush them up, then he had to have seen the video.  I don't think he will resign and it is hard to get him impeached or recalled, so we just have to keep the pressure on."

Hawazine Elmdine

"I think the mayor knew about it and he just didn't care. This has happened many times and nothing was even said about it."

Luis Romo

"Oh yes, I believe the Mayor knew about it.  I think he knows a lot more than we will ever know.  The city would not have paid out that kind of money if there wasn't something to hide. He wanted to keep it quiet at least until after the election or forever"

Brownie Wiley

"Yeah, I think Emmanuel knew about it. He's just like any other politician.  They will cover up anything to get what they want."

Lucille Brown

"Of course the mayor knew.  Nothing goes on in this city that he doesn't know about, especially if five million dollars is involved.  I know the truth is coming.   The police chief is gone, but we need to get rid of Alvarez too."
