Al Raby deserves mention in any black history photo spread

On page 6 of your Feb. 3 edition of Austin Weekly News, you did not identify the gentleman in the photo with Dr. King and Rev. Jackson. That gentleman is Al Raby, the civil rights leader from the South Side of Chicago, who is believed to have brought Dr. King to Chicago in the '60s. That was during an open housing campaign.

Since you didn't identify him, I thought you ought to if ever the picture is carried again.

Respectfully,

Judge Judy Mitchell-Davis
Circuit Court, Fourth Municipal District
