Neighbor

Years ago the "Emotions" said don't ask my neighbor

But I say just the opposite please ask and do me a favor.

Ask them how I spoke or waved to them each morning

Before I went about my daily routine

Ask them how I tried to keep the backyard and the

Front yard of our apartment building clean

Ask them how I was respectful of others and kept
The volume on my radio and television down

Ask them how I kept control of my children year 'round.

Ask them how I participated in block club activities

Ask them how I campaigned to help put our

Neighborhood on the map in this city!

But more importantly ask them how I tried to provide

A loving home for my family and those outside of our four walls,

Come on...go ahead and ask my neighbors...that's my story,

And I'm sticking to it...yeah that's it...and that's all...
