West Side native, entrepneur and activist Marseil "Action" Jackson, 30, recently launched a daily radio show. Called "The Brunch Bunch," the show is hosted by Jackson and Tamera Fair. It airs Monday through Friday, 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Inspiration 1390, an iHeart Radio station in Chicago.l
During an interview last week, Jackson said that the show will feature a diverse array of guests— from Gospel artists to political figures and business owners. Jackson, who owns a credit recovery company, said that the show will also highlight financial literacy.
The Brunch Bunch's tag line, "It's always our aim to send you back better than you came," reflects the purpose of the show, Jackson said.
"Our platform is used to uplift, inspire, ignite and inform people in the community about critical resources available and the people behind those resources," Jackson said, echoing an oft-repeated description of his new radio show.
