Third Unitarian Church gives $14,000 in scholarships to Austin High School graduates

Austin's Third Unitarian Church, 301 N. Mayfield, hosts its 38th Annual Scholarship Award ceremony at 11 a.m., Sunday June 10. Fourteen Austin-area high school seniors will each receive $1,000 scholarships. Area congregations including Third Unitarian and Oak Park's Unity Temple have provided the funds. A reception with refreshments will follow the award ceremony. Some of the recipients and their parents got a preview of the Awards ceremony from church pastor, Rev. Brian Covell, last Friday.
