Redmoon Theater Company will bring “an evening of spectacle, poetry, massive pageantry, and interactive performance” to Columbus Park starting next Tuesday, Oct. 3 and running for seven days through Oct. 9. The flyer says “Spectacle ’06: Twilight Orchard” is “open for discovery between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., rain or shine. Come prepared to explore as the natural environment unfolds into a mysterious and arresting garden of the imagination.” Located at the Columbus Park Refectory, 5701 W. Jackson, tickets are free for the surrounding communities (Austin, Garfield Park, North Lawndale, and Oak Park). But occupancy is limited, so you have to make a reservation. For tickets and more information, visit the website at www.redmoon.org or call 312/850-8440 x111. Boeing Corporation is the lead sponsor, along with LaSalle Bank and the National Endowment for the Arts, in partnership with the Chicago Park District.
