It was a bittersweet day for me, because one of my aunts was being funeralized in Shreveport, La., at time I was attending this prayer breakfast. My aunt, Carrie B. Mosley was 80 years old and is survived by her husband Floyd Sr., three sons (Floyd Jr., Londell, Ronnie) and two daughters (Elaine and Brenda). When Aunt Carrie first came to my hometown of Milwaukee and lived with us, I would follow her all day. If she took a photo, I wanted to be in it with her (see photo). In many ways Hope Community Church was a substitute religious day for me as well.
