Student Freedom Riders hit the streets Saturday to promote the “Catch It!” campaign, calling for an additional high school for Austin. The Freedom Riders are the student organizing arm of the Austin Community Education Network, a coalition of residents, parents, local leaders and organizations, including Local School Councils, Mad Dad’s, Parents United for Responsible Education, South Austin Coalition, Westside Health Authority, and the Westside Ministers Coalition.
