Radio icon Herb Kent and journalist David Smallwood visits Afri-Ware in Oak Park on Saturday, Mar. 14, to promote their new book The Cool Gent. The book exposes Kent’s never-before revealed stories of friendships, his struggle with addiction, and his success as a broadcaster. Kent, a South Side Chicago native, currently hosts his dusties radio show on V103.
