Cook County Board President Todd Stroger traded in his suit and tie for gym shorts and a jersey Saturday, taking part in his Cook County Night Basketball League at Malcolm X College, 1900 W. Van Buren. 


Stroger was joined by former Chicago Bull Bob “Butter Bean” Love, along with city elected officials, ministers and youth. The inaugural event is part of Stroger’s Summer Peace initiative. Games will be played in various city colleges until Aug. 20.
