Beverly Rogers, a Chicago police officer in the 15th District and CAPS (Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy) leader in Austin, will challenge incumbent Ald. Deborah Graham in next year’s election in the 29th Ward. Rogers officially kicked off her campaign on Aug. 29.
