Austin Weekly News attended the 37th Ward Community Meeting hosted by Coca-Cola, 1401 N. Cicero, on Thursday, July 28th, in Austin. Nearly 200 37th Ward residents joined Alderman Emma Mitts to hear presentations by Planet Fitness, a new business making plans to open in Austin; Morris Smith and Oliver Bowe of Coca-Cola; and the City of Chicago Water Department, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, and the Office of Emergency Management Communications, all in regards to the recent massive flooding.
