We Walked the Walk on September 24, 2011 for Building a Healthier Chicago Austin Initiative – 5k Walk for Health Across Austin. It was a rainy day but many walkers came out to support building a Healthier Austin.
Rear Admiral Assistant Surgeon General James M. Galloway MD. FACP, FACC came out along with local celebreties and politicians Alderman Deborah Graham, State Rep. Camille Lilly, Senator Kimberly Lightford, Commissioner Barbara McGowan and State Rep. LaShawn Ford. A big cheer goes out to Ms. Athena Williams and team who organized a fantastic walk and after-party.
