This free event will include a presentation by the author/activist about her family’s historic experiment and stand living off Black business; remarks from renowned business diversity expert/advocate, Emmett Vaughn, director of Diverse Business Empowerment for Exelon; a Q&A session; and an “Our Black Year” booksigning reception.
