In honor of Black History Month, Southtown will hold a clothing drive, with donations going to Fathers Who Care, a local non-profit organization in the Austin neighborhood. You can find out more about this organization by going to their website www.fatherswhocare.com.

Southtown believes that as a business association, it should not only work in bettering the Southtown area but also concentrate on being charitable and giving back to the community.

Reverend Jones at Fathers Who Care prefers gently used clothing for grammar and high school boys and girls. They are also in need of men’s and women’s clothing. All items can be dropped off at Tan Travel, 964 S. Oak Park Ave during regular business hours Monday-Friday anytime between 9am-5pm.

Clothing will be delivered on Saturday Feb 23 in the Austin Neighborhood.

Southtown hopes we can all do our part and help out our neighboring community!
