Guest Artist Lesley Etherly Presents A Poetic Paintings Program! For ages 7 yrs. and up

Description of the Poetic Paintings Program: Participants will combine verbal and visual imagery and create beautiful artistic creations. Participants will write a poem on a postcard, a greeting card, or mounted paper. There will be instructions on how to write an acrostic and a Haiku poem if inspiration is needed. Participants can then choose from watercolor or acrylic paint mediums to illustrate their poems. There will be examples of these projects to inspire and provoke creativity.
