To help customers experiencing financial hardship and in need of assistance paying their monthly electric bill, ComEd is partnering with CEDA (Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County) and other LIHEAP Agencies (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) to host CARE Fairs in communities across ComEd’s service territory. During the CARE Fairs customers can receive onsite assistance with their ComEd bill, including applying for financial assistance, bill payment options, and information on how to save energy to lower their monthly electric bills.
Pictured (in the attached photos), at a recent CARE Fair, ComEd energy experts share information on smart grid initiatives, energy efficiency tips, and bill payment assistance. Upcoming CARE Fairs are scheduled, as follows:
- June 18 4-7 pm Malcolm X College, Cultural Center, 1900 W. Van Buren St, Chicago, IL 60612
- June 19 5-8 pm Willye Park Center, 1610 W. Howard, Chicago, IL 60626
