The West Garfield Park Community Stakeholders met on Tuesday, September 10th. The meeting started with a discussion of what we can do to keep the coalition strong. Ideas included making connections, commitment & attendance, partnerships, networking, identifying problems and solving them, consistency, providing safe havens, mentoring youth and parents, education programs, teamwork, and transparency.

Our coalition is strong. Some of our members include The Allison United Foundation for Better Living, Legal Prep Charter School, Fathers Who Care and 10 S. Kedzie – Department of Human Services.
