Vonetta Flowers

 —Vonetta Flowers, Olympic Gold medalist, who in 2002 became the first black person to win a Gold medal at the Winter Olympics. She won in the two-person bobsled competition with her partner, Jill Bakken. Flowers, 40, retired from competition in 2006 and currently owns a physical therapy company Alabama.
