The Galewood Farmer’s Market opened Sunday June 8th. There was nice weather and a great turnout for opening day. The market offered three new vendors this year, as well as food trucks. The location of the market makes fresh goods available to residents of Austin, Galewood and those in neighboring Oak Park or Elmwood Park.
The Market is held every Sunday from 9AM-2PM at the Charter One Bank Parking Lot located at 6700 W. North Avenue in Chicago. It is sponsored by the Northwest Community Coalition, the City of Chicago, and Charter One Bank.
