Austin Weekly News hosted another Women’s Health Panel on June 26, 2014. This complimentary event was held from 8am to 10am at Sinai Community Institute at 2653 W. Ogden Avenue in Chicago. Sinai provided a delicious breakfast, after which the panelists introduced themselves and answered questions from the audience. Dawn Ferencak, Associate Publisher of Austin Weekly News, served as Moderator.
A dozen local women attended the discussion that focused on Summer Safety. The panel of experts was composed of Dr. Gary Barsky, well-known laser surgeon and dermatologist on staff at Loretto Hospital; Betsy Kastak, Nurse Practitioner in the High Risk Pediatrics Unit at Sinai Children’s Hospital; and Clariza Saint George, Medical & Legal Advocate at Rape Victim Advocates, an Illinois non-profit.
