On Saturday, August 30, 2014, children from all around the city showed up in record numbers for the fun and excitement of Loretto Hospital‘s 4th Annual Back-to-School Fitness Fun Fest from 11 am – 2 pm.
Evan Turner, NBA basketball player from the Boston Celtics, participated in the festivities. Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, Representative Camille Lilly (78th District), Commissioner Barbara McGowan, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, Aldermen Jason C. Ervin (28th Ward), Deborah Graham (29th Ward), Senator Don Harmon (39th District) and his daughter, Maggie were also there to show support.
