On Monday, October 20, 2014, the West Garfield Park Youth Council held its 2015 Election of Officers. The Officers Elected were; David Elam – President, Vernisha Jones – 1st Vice-President, Steven Lewis – 2nd Vice-President, Jasmine Mayfield -Treasurer, Kianna Spearman – Secretary, Darius Hillsman – Parlimentarian and last but not least Dwayne Mullen – Sgt. of Arms.

The West Garfield Park Youth Leadership Council is comprised of thirty (30) youth from the community who plan activities and events that address the key needs and concerns facing their peers and community.
