It’s that time of year again when Alderman Emma Mitts, along with the 37th Ward Democratic Organization and Westside Urban Development, prepares to host the Annual 37th Ward Turkey Give-Away. The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ronald McNair Elementary School located at 4820 W. Walton.

In the past Alderman Mitts has distributed over 2000 turkeys to families in the community and this year we would like to continue in that same spirit of giving by distributing one “free” turkey to families in need within the 37th Ward.
