The Austin Weekly News and Wednesday Journal invite you to an exciting evening of networking, light refreshments, and a raffle! Plus, live entertainment by artists assembled by Local-Motions Performing Arts Organization, a non-profit dedicated to the promotion of performance arts among school-aged children in Chicago. The event is FREE to attend, although RSVP is REQUIRED! RSVP here on eventbrite and you’ll get two FREE RAFFLE TICKETS that you can pick up at Check-In on event day.

Last year over 250 local residents, business owners, and even some government officials came out to enjoy this fun night. Read about the 1st Annual Holiday Party here.

Back in 2013, the Austin Weekly News saw the need to provide networking opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs on Chicago’s Greater West Side, bridging the gap between the city and near west suburbs. To fill that need, we created the West Side Business Network, a collection of networking groups, many of which meet monthly, whose goal is to facilitate professional connections throughout the communities we serve.
It’s been over a year now, and we’ve been remarkably successful with well over 500 community members and partners in our network. We hope you’ll join us in a celebration of this success!
All are invited to attend this evening of networking, live entertainment from local artists, vendors, raffle prizes, and a “Taste of Local Eats,” a light buffet of refreshments from neighborhood restaurants and caterers.
Thursday, December 4, 2014, 5pm – 9pm
Columbus Park Refectory, 5701 W. Jackson Blvd. in Chicago
We are in need of volunteers to help out, and for assistance with spreading the word! Any local residents, or professionals interested in enjoying a fun evening while getting the chance to find out about the West Side Business Network are encouraged to come.
