West Side Bridge first began back in 2013 as a way to bridge the gap across Austin Boulevard. Since then, hundreds of local professionals have joined the group and many connections have been made. One member says he enjoys the meetings because he has “Found lots of new friends and learned about a lot of resources.“
Please join us at First United Methodist Church of Oak Park, 324 North Oak Park Avenue, on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 7:30am – 9am for networking. You’ll have the chance to increase awareness of your business and services, while finding out what projects are happening throughout Chicago and the suburbs. RSVP is required! Contact Alicia by 2/18: email@example.com or (708) 613-3344.
West Side Bridge is open to everyone and is free to join. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Location varies.
The West Side Business Network (WSBN) began in 2013 when the Austin Weekly News saw the need to provide networking opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs on Chicago’s Greater West Side, bridging the gap between the city and near west suburbs. It’s been two years now, and we’ve been remarkably successful with well over 700 community members and partners in our network. The WSBN is FREE to join and includes many benefits, such as advertising rates exclusive to members, inclusion of an informational flyer about an event or services in our weekly WSBN Update email that goes to thousands of locals, and more! The WSBN is a collection of networking groups, many of which meet monthly, whose goal is to facilitate professional connections throughout the communities we serve. Groups part of the WSBN are the Austin Weekly News Business Development Group, West Side Women, West Side Men, West Side Bridge (bridging the gap between the West Side of Chicago and the Western Suburbs), West Side Manufacturing Network, and the Illinois Press Association award winning Out & About in Austin – showing all that’s good on the West Side of Chicago. Wednesday Journal has recently started Out & About in Oak Park.
