Friendship Baptist Church will be celebrating the 8th Anniversary of its 8th Pastor, Rev. Reginald E Bachus, M.Div. Rev. Bachus came to Friendship from First Regular Missionary Baptist Church in Lawrence, Kansas where he was the Pastor. Rev. Bachus succeeded Rev. Dr. Shelvin Jerome Hall who served as Pastor for 51 years. Rev. Bachus preached his inaugural sermon in November 2006 and was officially installed as Pastor on March 11, 2007.
The 8th Anniversary services will begin 7:15 p.m. nightly, March 4-6, 2015. Our guest preachers include: Wednesday night, Dr. Rogers Jackson, Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church; Thursday night, Dr. George W. Waddles, Pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church and; Friday night, Dr. Charles Gordon, Pastor of Covenant Chapel Baptist Church. The celebration will continue on Sunday, March 8, 2015. At 11:00 a.m. Dr. Ticey Brown, Pastor of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church of Los Angeles, CA, is the guest preacher. At 4:00 p.m., Dr. Leroy Elliott, Pastor of Greater St. John Baptist Church, is the guest preacher.
