The Bobby E. Wright Behavioral Health Center celebrated its new recovery center for the mentally ill population in East and West Garfield Park with an open house reception on March 9th. The center is located on 2339 West Lake Street in Chicago. The Peaceful Beginnings is a place where adult mental health consumers can come to relax, participate in recreational activities, hold consumers’ meetings, learn how to manage their illnesses and make new friends. It is a place they can call a new home away from home and feel comfortable and welcome.
