Move Me Soul in conjunction with Pyramid Players Productions presents “Sankofa – Looking Back to Move Forward – A Celebration of Repertoire” on May 1, 2015 6pm – 8pm at Austin Campus – 231 N. Pine St. Lead choreographer Ayesha Jaco heads a strong team of instructors to direct this awesome group of dancers. As a product of the west side Ayesha stays committed to helping nurture Chicago’s most in need.
Ground floor auditorium seating is $5.
Pyramid Players Productions (P3), a not-for-profit organization that provides performance events in under-utilized spaces within economically and socially challenged communities, will be hosting a VIP section in the balcony for $20 which includes networking opportunities with guests, dancers and instructors, photo opportunities as well as complimentary refreshments. All proceeds go to elevating performance access for youth and adults in Austin.
