About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to businesses that makes deliveries in the 015th District (Austin) of an increase in Robbery related incidents that have occurred during the month of May. In these incidents, food delivery drivers are being targeted by unk male black offenders who at gunpoint rob the drivers of their food, USC and cellphones.
Incident times and locations are listed below:
- 1000 block of North Leamington on May 06, 2015 at 12:30 A.M.
- 4900 block of West Rice Street on May 14, 2015 at 9:25 A.M.
- 700 block of North Latrobe on May 19, 2015 at 2:12 A.M.
About the Offenders:
Multiple unk male black offenders, 18-25 years of age, 5-06 to 5-10, 120-170lbs armed with handguns
What you can do:
- Report suspicious activity immediately
- Be aware of suspicious individuals in the neighborhood
- If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information
- Dial 9-1-1 immediately and remain on scene
