Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital will host a Nursing Job Fair on Saturday, June 6 at its state-of-the-art facility on Chicago’s west side conveniently located just off of Interstate 290.

Two sessions will be held to accommodate hectic Saturday schedules and will include facility tours, presentations, open panel discussions and even preliminary interviews.

Session 1: 9:00 am – 11:00 am 

 
Session 2: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Human Resources Manager, Janice Clark, will explain why joining the nursing team at Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital should be considered for nurses just entering the field, and for seasoned professionals looking for supervising roles.

Nurses will join a team of employees who are passionate about mental health and love working with children. Being part of a new facility can be exhilarating and each new employee brings new skills and experiences that can help shape and define programming future specializations. New nurses have the opportunity to be part of something special for mental health in Chicago, making it an exciting time to join GPBH.

The facility is in the beginning of its third year of operation and positioning itself for growth in the fall.  

The stunning, state-of-the-art, 88-bed facility, is solely dedicated to the treatment of children and adolescents in its inpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
