Fathers Who Care and the West Garfield Park Youth Council will host their Weekly Television Show on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 7:30pm on CAN-TV (Cable Channel 21).
The show will be hosted by Rev. Walter Jones, Jr., Servant for Social Change and Community Empowerment as well as the founder of the West Garfield Park Community Stakeholders and leader of Fathers Who Care.
Our Special Invited Guest will be: Viral Sensation of Young People – Sonta. 18-year-old Sonta is coming straight from her bathroom mirror with a microphone hairbrush and her pretty brown eyes set on the top of the Chicago music scene and beyond. The self-proclaimed “Heart of the Hundreds” is banking on her brand of R&D (Rhythm and Drill) to help her break through a crowded landscape where talent is optional and longevity is fleeting. Not one to knock anyone’s hustle, Sonta wants to be the voice of the young ladies who are grossly under represented and in need of a “shero” that understands their story and can tell it like it is.
