The recent budget cutbacks in social service programs in the state of Illinois have put the Community Coalition for Youth Summer Work Experience program on hold. Therefore, we have started the Community Coalition for Youth Summer Work Experience Campaign – A Loretto Youth Council (LYC) on Healthcare Initiative -to raise the funds to keep this program alive for the youth in Chicago’s Austin and surrounding communities. The youth summer work program gives participants real-time work experience and exposure to a variety of career opportunities.

In order to bring our goal alive, we need your help. The LYC on Healthcare Initiative is hosting the “Tribute to Legends” benefit concert on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, 6:00 p.m., at the Wire, 6815 Roosevelt Road, Berwyn, IL, and would love for you to be a contributor to this evening of great music including the hits of Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Minnie Ripperton and more.

There are several ways to contribute to the campaign:

*Make a contribution through GoFundMe at GoFundMe.com/LYCHealthcare
