Congressman Danny K. Davis awarded the Outstanding Fatherhood Award to Rev. Walter Jones, Jr. of Fathers Who Care. The award was given to him for his years of service to the Fatherhood Movement, youth on the West Side of Chicago and his ongoing efforts to promote a safe and drug-free community.
The National Student Minister to Minister Louis Farrakhan, Ishmael Muhammad, Atty. Jeffrey Levin, Brother Claiborne Wade, sisters of the movement to empower fathers, many notable ministers, and other concerned citizens were among those who attended the ceremony.
