Dr. Rashad K. Saafir will be hosting a forum on mental health and substance abuse information in the Nancy Jefferson room at the Bobby E. Wright Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center. The forum will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm on Thursday, June 30th.
Dr. Saafir will discuss reducing barriers on African-Americans using mental health services as well as recognizing the signs, symptoms and issues surrounding mental health and substance abuse. Attendees will be provided with free refreshments and free parking.
