On July 30, the Monroe Foundation and Commissioner Richard Boykin hosted the Small Business Boot Camp Information Session at the Austin Town Hall in Chicago. The event was created to educate small business owners on the West Side of Chicago and equip them with the necessary tools to sustain a successful business. Attendees learned how to complete a business plan and business loan documents and learned about the City of Chicago Business Compliance requirements.
