According to a Feb. 19 Chicago Tribune report, Chicago police divers pulled a body from a pond in Columbus Park on Sunday.

At around 2:45 p.m., someone called law enforcement officials to report that a person was in the pond. Divers pulled the body of the person from the water at around 3:45 p.m., according to officials.

On Monday morning, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that the body was that of Darius J. Dobbs, 37, of suburban Broadview.

So far, that’s all the information that is immediately available.
