Find enrichment at the North Austin Library

This week, take advantage of any of the numerous children’s programs offered by the North Austin Branch Library, 5724 W. North Ave.

On Thursday, March 16, at 4 p.m., bring your imagination and get ready to build in the library’s monthly LEGO program, which features numerous engineering challenges and free play period to follow. No registration is required for this program, which is designed for those ages 6 and up.

On Saturday, March 18, participate in the library’s science club, designed for youths in grades 3 to 6. Registration is required. If a youth participates in at least one program, she’s eligible to take a field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry.

Celebrate National Nutrition Month with PCC Wellness

[AustinTalks] This month, PCC Community Wellness Center (PCC) is celebrating National Nutrition Month at its Austin Family Health Center, 5425 W. Lake St.

On March 20, 27 and 28, dietetic interns from Dominican University will coordinate activities to provide patients and staff with practical tips for eating healthier.
