Walk/run for clean water

On Saturday, May 6, you can participate in the World Vision Global 6K for Water. The event will be held at the Columbus Park Refectory, 5701 W. Jackson Blvd., at 8 a.m. Each registration provides lasting clean water to a child and on race day, you walk/run with that child’s picture on your race bib.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

Women’s Breakthrough Alliance would like to invite you to come and experience an interactive, musical journey celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Mama Edie.

Mama Edie has performed in Trinidad, Mexico, Ghana, India, South Africa and more. Mama Edie Armstrong is a speech and language pathologist, contributing author to literacy research and storytelling publications, and a joyous celebrant of life.
