Think community at summit
An Austin Community Summit will be held on Saturday July 29, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm., at By The Hand Club, 415 N. Laramie. A light breakfast will be served.
Join us for the first of three community summits that will result in a plan for the Austin community, by the Austin community.
The purpose of the first community summit is to bring hundreds of community leaders together to reach consensus on the highest priority actionable opportunities in the Austin community.
Enjoy the Oak Park Farmers’ Market
Before the summer is out, visit the Oak Park Farmers’ Market, which runs 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays through October and is located at 460 Lake Street in the Pilgrim Church parking lot, one block west of Ridgeland, in Oak Park.
Use your LINK card to make eligible purchases at the market and receive a $1 coupon for each dollar spent that day, up to a maximum of $25 in coupons per cardholder per day. Coupons can be used at participating vendors anytime during the market season.
