Feast before Thanksgiving  

On Wednesday, Nov. 7, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the Enola A. Dew Village Apartments, 4623 W. Gladys, Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin, Jasmine Jackson and Oak Street Health will host a pre-Thanksgiving luncheon for senior citizens. All seniors invited. RSVP required to attend. Learn entrepreneurship and urban agriculture 

On Thursday, Nov. 8, 9 a.m., at the JLM Center, 2622 W. Jackson, Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin will host a faith-based breakfast and discussion on innovation, entrepreneurship and urban agriculture. Guest speaker: Ariella Rada, consul for academic and community affairs (Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest). RSVP required to attend.
