On May 28th, Urban Partnership Bank sponsored a basketball clinic by the WNBA’s Chicago Sky for the women’s basketball team at Christ the King High School in the city’s Austin neighborhood. The clinic featured the basketball skills and wizardry of the Sky’s 2014 first round pick draft, Markeisha Gatling, guard Courtney Clements and Assistant Coach Christie Sides.
“The clinic not only helped our team to hone its skills, but provided a better understanding of the hard work and teamwork that go into any successful endeavor, whether in sports or in life, said Coach Edward Douglas of Christ the King.
