Get your broken items and clothes fixed for free 

On Saturday, July 27, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Austin Branch Library, 5615 W. Race, volunteers with Repair Café will be on-site to offer free repairs of broken household items and clothing. For more info, call (312) 746-5038.

Watch 'Ready Player One' 

 

On Wednesday, July 24, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at North Austin Branch Library, 5724 W. North Ave., library officials will host a screening for "Ready Player One," a movie about the creator of a virtual reality world called OASIS whose death launches an Easter Egg hunt for all OASIS users eager to find a fortune. For more info, call (312) 746-4233.
