GO HARD's Back2School Celebration, Aug. 5th

As students head back to school filled with excitement and anticipation, the youth ministry at Living Word Christian Center has just the right thing to help them celebrate and gear up for the challenges that often come with a new school year.

GO HARD For Christ's Youth Ministry, led by Pastor David Winston and his wife, Niki, promise that their Back2School Celebration will spiritually ignite, refuel, and refresh youngpeople to face the new school year with hope and excitement.

The celebration will be held on August 5 at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, Ill, "Here's what makes our event special. At the end of the evening we pray blessings over them for academic success, positive relationships, favor, health, and protection," said Pastor David. "We also pray for them to be spiritually empowered to boldly live a life of faith, reach their dreams, and overcome every obstacle. God has a good plan for their lives, and we tell them so."

From 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm there will be a school supply giveaway for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. This giveaway includes a t-shirt and a backpack filled with age appropriate supplies. In addition students and their families will  have access to carnival games, a bounce house, a dunk tank and more!

At 4:30 all students between the ages of 13 and 19 can worship and celebrate with special musical guests. And them finally from 6 to 9 The GO HARD for Christ ministry volunteers mingle and mix with students to give encouragement and spiritual support for the upcoming school year.

In addition to this event GO HARD for Christ Youth Ministry meets every Wednesday Night for Worship and Bible Study. GO HARD creatively ministers to youth through special props, backdrops, contemporary music and out-of-the-box teachings to make faith in God exciting and fun.
