The Westside Black Elected Officials, an organization chaired by 37th Ward Ald. Emma Mitts, will host crime victims and their loved ones on Sunday, Dec. 11 at Greater Little Rock the Lord's Church, 647 N. Kedzie (entrance on Huron St.). All are welcome.

Children's coat drive

From now until Dec. 9, 29th Ward Ald. Chris Taliaferro's office will be holding a children's coat drive.

Help keep local children warm this winter by dropping off your new or gently used children's coats — sizes infant through 14 — at Taliaferro's 29th Ward service office, 2445 N. Harlem Ave., through Friday.
